Your test and lab data in one place, analysed automatically

Test results in one spreadsheet, sample records in another, instrument files in a folder and the latest version on someone's desktop. Every new measurement means typing it in again, every question about an old result means a search, and spotting a trend across months of tests means building yet another sheet. We build data management and analysis software for small R&D, lab and production teams: one tool that collects your measurement data, keeps it together and easy to find, shows the trends and does the analysis you now do by hand.

Check your data work in 2 minutes

Sounds familiar?

  • The same result is typed into two or three spreadsheets, and they no longer agree.
  • Finding the data from a test six months ago takes an afternoon.
  • Each instrument writes its own files, and someone copies them together by hand.
  • The analysis lives in one colleague's spreadsheet, and only they know how it works.
  • You know you should replace Excel with a database, but there is never time to start.

What we build

How it works today

In most small teams the data grew one spreadsheet at a time. Instruments save their own files, someone copies the results into a master sheet, someone else keeps a list of samples or parts, and each analysis is a copy of last month's workbook with new numbers in it. It works as long as everybody is careful. But every result is entered more than once, nobody is quite sure which file is the right one, and tracing a number back to its measurement is slow. Manual data entry is where the hours go, and where the mistakes come from.

How it works with the tool

We build one tool that becomes the place your data lives. It reads the files your instruments and your team already produce, checks them and stores them together, so each result is entered once and can be traced at any time. The analysis you now do by hand (statistics per batch, comparisons with reference samples, limits and pass/fail checks, plots for the weekly meeting) runs automatically on the stored data. Think of it as research data management software sized for a small team. If you have been meaning to replace Excel with a database, this is that step, and it starts from the files you already have. It runs on your own computers or your own server, and your data stays with you.

What it works with

Typical inputs are the files your instruments and test benches already write, production records, sample lists and the spreadsheets you keep today. Typical outputs are plots, statistics, filtered result tables, traceability records and reports in your own templates. If the data reaches a computer as files, it can very likely be collected and analysed automatically.

Client examples

All test data in one tool

Water filtration · Circular economy · Ecomemb

Saves about 8 hours every week.

“Data automation in our membrane regeneration process has made us more efficient and provides full traceability of every step across our processes. It has also helped us gain speed and accuracy in our daily operations.”

How it works

  • A 30-minute call. We map the workflow you want gone.
  • A concept and a fixed quote. You decide before anything is built.
  • We build, install & support it. We test it with your real files and keep it running.

Questions we are asked

  • Do we have to stop using Excel?

No. The tool starts from the files you already have, spreadsheets included. What stops is typing the same result into several files. If you need old spreadsheets imported or results exported back to Excel, that becomes part of the tool and the quote.

  • Where is our data stored?

On your own computers or your own server. Your data stays with you. Automatic backups can be built into any tool.

  • Can it read the files our instruments produce?

Usually, yes. If an instrument saves its results as files, the tool works with those files as they are, and we test it with your real files before it is installed. Any open, non-proprietary data format can be read, such as CSV, text or Excel files.

  • Can the whole team use it?

Your software runs on your own computers or servers, so it can be set up for one person or for the team. A standalone tool on each computer is often enough; built around a central database, it lets the whole team work with the same data at the same time. Which setup fits depends on the workflow, and we decide it with you.
